Matcha Green Tea - The Traditional Preparation Method
Step 1: Sift 1 gram of Matcha Organics Ceremonial Matcha Green Tea into a tea bowl to prevent clumping. One gram of matcha is equivalent to about half a teaspoon.
Step 2: Pour approximately 2 oz of almost boiling water over the dry matcha. Lightly combine and let the mixture cool for a minute. Then, whisk the mixture in a loose "W" or "M" shaped motion until the matcha is foamy and frothy.
Step 3: Add hot water to your desired strength and enjoyment. Some prefer a thicker, more concentrated matcha, while others enjoy a thinner, lighter version. Adjust the amount of hot water to suit your personal preference.
